Additional Payments for Mold-Related Damage Properly
Denied by Insurer says Texas Judge
June 1, 2004
Additional payments for mold-related damages were reasonably denied
by State Farm Lloyds as the homeowner failed to mitigate damages
and segregate covered and uncovered losses.
The Judge also found the insurer could not be liable for bad faith since
the insurer's liability was not clear when it denied the claim.
